We are looking for a savvy sales business development professional with a successful track record of developing and leading sales and go-to-market strategies for strategic global software and technology partnerships. You should love working with technology, driving business conversations cross-functionally with partners, sales and marketing and have a growth mindset to drive the successful execution of joint go-to-market activities and revenue acceleration for a named strategic technology partnership.

Position Summary:

As the Sr. Manager, Strategic Alliances, you will drive and prioritize the relationship with assigned Citrix partner(s) to pursue market opportunities that support the long-term growth of Citrix focused on the move to the cloud. The position is within the worldwide partner and ecosystem organization and will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales. This is a highly visible role that will interact directly with the executive levels at the partners and at Citrix and will engage with a broad variety of executive stakeholders. The role embodies the entrepreneurial energy and ability to lead a named strategic partner relationship to “win-win” success.

Role Responsibilities:

The Citrix Go-to-Market (GTM) partner lead will manage the GTM, sales strategy and execution for Citrix with the assigned global technology alliance partner. The partner lead will engage cross-functionally across Citrix and our mutual channels (GSIs, OEMs, Resellers, etc.) to drive pipeline and bookings acceleration. The role requires implementing the global GTM plan to drive bookings and revenue acceleration. Role responsibilities include:

  • Implement the GTM plan engaging directly with Citrix and alliance partner sales teams and channel to drive field / channel enablement, alignment, and incremental joint opportunities.
  • Align with marketing to drive demand generation and awareness of partnership key developments.
  • Align with Cloud Innovation team to ensure roadmap developments are reflected in GTM plan execution.
  • Ensure partnership sales governance maintained with regular business reviews.
  • Execute overall direct and indirect co-selling initiative across the joint portfolio.
  • Align closely with Citrix sales, product, finance, marketing, operations, and support teams around the world.
  • Cultivate executive relationships with sales and business leaders within the alliance partner, and associated channel partner and sales leaders.
  • Work globally with partners and Citrix teams in all regions driving best practice adoption and improved partner experience
  • Up to 25% travel required

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in strategic alliances, sales business development and/or global partner management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Effective written, presentation and verbal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as member or leader of virtual teams where membership may be across multiple organizations and geographies
  • Detail oriented and able to help others set priorities
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
