You are a penetration tester or security engineer who is looking to deepen their knowledge by working across a diverse and exciting security technology areas including cloud, networking, mobile, virtualization and Windows/Mac/Linux. You have previous experience either penetration testing or in security engineering obtained through further education combined with experience. If you have 2 or more years of security engineering experience, we’d love to speak with you! This role can sit remote in any US state.

 

Position Overview:

As a senior security engineer at Citrix you will get wide exposure to cutting edge and varied technologies, working across the entire software development lifecycle from supporting agile development including systems design and architecture, through to penetration testing and finding vulnerabilities in live systems.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Architectural and design review using techniques such as threat modelling to identify risks and put in place remediation activities during the early design stages.
  • Secure code review of diverse platforms in a wide variety of programming languages and technologies such as .NET, C, C++, Java, Javascript, and Python.
  • Security automation such as fuzzing, dynamic and static analysis.
  • Penetration testing of Citrix cloud services and Enterprise software solutions.
  • Provide security training and advice to engineering teams on all aspects of security, working with them to review security fixes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Security experience
  • Expert in at least 3 of these areas in security – System, Web, Network, Mobile, Cloud, Windows, Cryptography
  • Experience in security engineering for a software development house
  • A candidate with experience of at least one of the following: Penetration testing, secure code review, security automation, cryptography, and architectural design review.
  • A good knowledge of a range of common software security vulnerabilities and experience of finding them in at least one of the following: Web applications, operating systems, mobile apps, networking, virtualization and cloud.
  • Proficiency in a programming language(s) (e.g. C, C++, Python)

Preferred Qualifications

  • You'll also have the team and personal skills to be able to work and collaborate effectively across the organization including developers, architects, product managers and engineering leadership.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Citrix and the country where you work.
