What we're looking for:

You as the Sr. Talent Development Consultant creates thought leadership with business leaders around learning and performance support.

Position Overview

The Sr. Talent Development Consultant you will be the trusted advisor and go-to partner for Learning, Talent, and Performance that supports strategy and execution plans that business leaders work with, in order to drive our learning culture. Working with the wider HR organization, the Sr. Talent Development Consultant is the Subject Matter Expert, making sure that Talent Capability & Development is high on the agenda and propagates throughout the organisation. Above all else, driving the agenda of a growth mindset through our learning culture and strategy.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Be a trusted advisor and consult with HRBPs and business leaders on the best learning interventions to support business needs. Design, curate, or deliver customized programs as needed.
  • Coordinate, assess, design, and create execution plans for performance improvement solutions from courses to coaching
  • Being data-driven at all times, providing pro-active insights to managers along with recommendations that drive performance improvements
  • Works in partnership with Director, Talent Capability & Development in driving Learning Transformation activities across the organisation
  • Working closely with Sales Enablement and Technical Delivery to ensure that the Sales and Engineering organization is provided with an end-to-end learning catalog including product, process, and behavior/skills development offerings that will support the business in achieving their business objectives
  • Regularly meeting with business stakeholders at all levels, ensuring practical decisions can be agreed upon for Talent & Development
  • Facilitate training sessions, in-person Instructor Lead Training (ILT) and Technology-driven Virtual Instructor Lead Training (VILT), that support managers in developing learning and performance strategies that create a growth mindset
  • Support great learning impact by analyzing post-course data, and adjusting programs as appropriate. Provides these data points to Director, Talent Capability & Development, and other P&OC Leadership who will use this to drive decisions with stakeholders.
  • Driving a coaching culture throughout our people managers. Supporting career development and performance ownership by individual employees and their managers
  • Participates in and provides support for special HR projects, as needed, following direction from the project leader or Director, Talent Capability & Development
  • Select, manage and evaluate external partners who deliver planned performance or learning solutions
  • Secure quality, cost-effective solutions to deliver training and performance solutions. Minimizing vendor spending or shadow Learning activities
  • Driving and advocating technology-driven learning where it is logical to do so, when possible. Being an advocate for Citrix programs and our LMS
  • Customizing the curricula for Citrix based on accurate demand management
  • Ensure our programs ‘Think Global & Act Global’ Driving consistency where possible and customization as necessary (working with Delivery Specialists and Instructional designers)

Basic Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)

  • Project management skills from concept to planning, to implementation and evaluation
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a strong classroom/online presence
  • Resiliency and tolerance of ambiguity
  • Outstanding customer focus, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent coaching and influencing skills
  • Diplomacy, maturity, and ability to keep confidence
  • Customer service skills, listening, and understanding of client business priorities
  • Very strong interpersonal skills, ability to give and receive constructive feedback, ability to interact and partner with people at all levels and locations
  • Very strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • BA/BS, preferably English, communications or journalism, or equivalent experience and demonstrated skills and abilities
  • At least 10 years in a Training & Development role, with experience in developing classroom and non-traditional training programs for business, and delivering Management Training Programs desired.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Experience conducting training needs assessments in business organizations.
  • Prefer completion of the standardized curriculum development program.
  • Previous project management experience.
