What we're looking for:
 

YOU, as a Staff Software Engineer, will develop, test, maintain and debug software components that extend and enhance features in Application Delivery and Security products and services. YOU will work with a group of brilliant software engineers and architects on problems structured to develop knowledge and experience while following Agile practices and procedures.

Note: This is a Hybrid Role, where you might need to work from our Santa Clara, CA Office as and when needed.

Position Overview:

Citrix Application Delivery and Security team is on a mission to provide the best application delivery experience for modern application architectures deployed on Kubernetes. We are looking for talented and highly motivated software engineers interested in taking on challenges associated with security, performance, scale, usability, and visibility in a distributed environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds and work on cutting-edge technology in data center computing. Come join us as we build

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement layer-7 proxies in Docker and Kubernetes environment
  • Design and implement highly scalable control planes in the Kubernetes environment
  • Design and implement Security, Reliability, and Layer-7 features in a distributed system
  • Design and implement application delivery solutions in AWS, Azure
  • Work with minimal technical supervision, manage time constraints to deliver high-quality features

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, MS preferred
  • 7-8 years of OOP and multi-threaded programming
  • Strong knowledge of C, Go, Python, Java, Node.js
  • Expertise in the design of algorithms and data structures
  • Strong work ethic and passion for problem-solving
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Be comfortable decomposing complex problem statements.
