Are you a seasoned IT infrastructure architect who is looking for new opportunities in the fast-paced and innovative world of app and desktop virtualization / analytics within a digital workspace?  Do you enjoy living on the bleeding edge of technology and do not shy away from constantly learning? Can you tell entertaining stories, that help others understand how Citrix technology can solve their business problems? Then the Citrix Technical Marketing Team would be an excellent way to apply your industry knowledge as well as technical and marketing acumen, to help Citrix succeed.

We’re currently looking for a Technical Marketing Architect, with a focus on App and Desktop Virtualization / Analytics, to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for learning about the latest advancements and features in soon-to-be-released products so you can develop technical overview documents, how-to guides, video demonstrations, webinars and reference architectures to generate interest and help organizations and Citrix field teams succeed. Through hands-on work, you will be able to understand how the features work and be able to identify areas for improvement to help guide senior leadership influencing business and product roadmap.

Primary Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Help identify and drive the app and desktop virtualization / analytics technical content that aligns with global marketing programs.
  • Identify realistic use case scenarios through interactions with field teams and translate into reference architectures with video demonstrations.
  • Create effective webinars that guides organizations into adopting and expanding usage of Citrix app and desktop virtualization / analytics solutions through simple-to-understand concepts and impactful demonstrations.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and delivering Technical Marketing collateral to enable customer facing sales and technical personnel as well as internal marketing and engineering teams

What you need

  • Ability to work within a globally distributed virtual team
  • Ability to be a self-starter, set priorities and collaborate with different elements of a business organization
  • Deep analytical and strategic thinking abilities, along with the ability to see the big picture from scattered pieces of information. Able to collect and synthesize complex information, making it relevant, understandable and actionable for key stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the app and desktop virtualization markets as well as related technologies, architectures and platforms.
  • Have a technical understanding of the Citrix product portfolio and effectively communicate those capabilities to a large audience with varying levels of product functionality.
  • Experienced presenter who is a good storyteller and capable of tweaking presentations in real-time based on audience needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Capable of authoring industry and product related blogs, white papers, and presentations.
  • Have proficient time management skills and the ability to multi-task across multiple assignments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively network across multiple functional areas in an organization.
  • Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned projects and tasks to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills, ability to give and receive constructive feedback, ability to interact and partner with people at all levels and locations

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, preferably related to app and desktop virtualization
  • In-depth knowledge of the app and desktop virtualization market as well as related technologies, architectures and platforms.
  • Master in Computer Science is preferred, but not required.
  • This position requires occasional international travel.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to influence.
