In the Sr. HRIS Analyst role, you will exercise independent judgment and discretion in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for acquiring results!

Summary:

The Sr. HRIS Analyst plays a vital role in enabling internal customers to optimize Human Capital Management (HCM)/HRIS systems and build business value. Production Support, reporting/data analysis, and configuring new functionality are primary responsibilities. Project management experience with both technical and functional expertise is key. Full life cycle implementation is required for assigned projects; including scoping, building project plans, adherence to schedule, testing, communications, audit support, and change management.

This position will require teamwork across the business to develop and implement data-driven solutions to ensure adherence to company compliance standards/practices and maintaining internal audit processes to ensure data integrity. Key relationships include leaders of HR, Finance, IT, Business Systems, and Sales Operations. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for all HR systems and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Senior HRIS Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • This position has no immediate supervisory responsibilities but may tackle one or more direct reports in the future.
  • Core responsibilities include providing production support, troubleshooting issues, reporting, design, configuration and testing to implement solutions to drive adoption and ease of use.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership on HR systems in the functional aspect of system design. Develop and articulate solution options that consider the technical landscape as well as incorporate user experience, scalability, security and standard methodologies. Clearly highlight the merits and disadvantages of solution options to support informed decisions by internal customers. Provides scoping of complexity and effort for each option.
  • Provide input to change management strategy and deployment from a systems perspective.
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries applying appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.
  • Implement standardization and ensure the integrity of People Systems are efficiently applied, maintained and accessible.
  • Remain informed on current HR Technology trends and new systems release features for incumbent applications
  • Continuously identify trends and gaps within our systems landscape and lead ongoing efforts for process improvement, system enhancements and/or new applications that make progress toward the long-term vision of People Systems.
  • Lead and advise business partners in methodically assessing technology needs for new solutions.
  • Support audit and compliance efforts, where vital.
  • Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years related experience
  • Experience with all or any of the following systems preferred: UKG Pro, Workday, Greenhouse, PayScale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science or related degree
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential
  • 4+ years of advanced experience with HR systems/technologies, preferably in SaaS/Tech.
  • Prior experience with HCM, Benefits, Talent, Integrations, Reporting, Organization Hierarchy, Job Architecture, Security. Creating dashboards, metrics, and advanced analytical reports.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and Proficient in other MS Office Suite products.
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS and database systems management; Systems thinking orientation, with demonstrated ability to identify and address root causes.
  • Demonstrated experience in bridging business requirements and technical development.
  • Experience in working with large complex data systems to aggregate, organize, and preparing data for use in business analysis.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; including oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills; with ability to adjust style, content and deliver effective presentations to the target audience.
