What we're looking for:

You are an App Delivery & Security Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of direct Enterprise Sales experience with extensive knowledge of Networking/ADC/Security Solution selling. You are a hardworking, daring individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, as a member of a Field Sales team with strong direct client-facing sales experience

Position Overview:

Citrix has experienced rapid growth in our App Delivery & Security Division, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, aggressive individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our Field Sales team as an App Delivery & Security Sales Specialist. This is a remote based position with travel to customer locations or corporate meetings, as needed.

As a Senior App Delivery & Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and growing the market in your defined territory. You will be an essential element of our sales organization by planning, building, enabling, and accelerating the sales engine for our application Networking product sets (Citrix ADC, Citrix SD-WAN, SASE, Secured Unified Gated, Management & Analytics, and Security solutions). You will be supporting ERMs, CAMs, and partners to drive opportunities relating to Networking product line(s) through closure. You excel at engaging with customer to develop solutions. You excel at supporting activities specific to opportunities in low-touch accounts in addition to generating pipeline and managing opportunities.

Roles Responsibilities:

  • You will carry a revenue quota to meet or exceed sales targets within assigned territory.

  • You will act as the key field representative to develop and drive sales pipeline for Citrix’s Networking Solutions

  • You will be responsible for pipeline creation, acceleration and closing of projects with large to mid-sized sales opportunities with the goal of meeting and exceeding territory sales targets.

  • You will drive Citrix’s Networking infrastructure solutions into leading Enterprise businesses.

  • You will leverage Value-Added Resellers, System Integrators and Service Providers to grow the business and market share of our Networking technologies. You must be able to overcome competitive challenges and differentiate Citrix networking solutions in the market.

  • You will maintain knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position Citrix Networking solutions better.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

  • 5 years direct field technology sales

  • Previous experience in selling Networking solutions.

  • MUST reside within the local geography with the ability to travel to customer accounts and corporate meetings as required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years selling Network/Security based solutions into Enterprise & Commercial accounts

  • Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques/processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals.

  • Consistent track record working with customers, up-selling of products, contract renewals, accounting planning, and closing complex deals.

  • Previous experience in selling Networking solutions, preferably ADC, SASE, Load Balancing, Secured Unified Gated, WAN Optimization, or SD-WAN

  • Formal sales training i.e., Miller Heiman, Sander Training, Spin Selling, Challenger

  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota

  • Extensive executive contacts within assigned territory

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
