Citrix recently formed a standalone Work Collaboration business unit to focus on our SaaS business—an area where we see the highest growth potential. This new business unit is unique, and we certainly aren’t afraid to stand out from the crowd and tackle the bigger competitors.

We are looking for a Director of Agile and TPM. They will report directly into the VP of Engineering and focus on improving not just the agility of the Engineering organization, but the entirety of the Business Unit. They will also be responsible for transforming the current TPM organization into Technical Product Managers who will own the execution of our Solution level objectives.

Here's what we need you to do so we can take first place:

  • Agility – you have a deep understanding of what makes a business truly agile, with an ability to continuously increase the agility of the Business Unit. You focus on flow and understand how to remove bottlenecks to improve the end to end delivery of our software.
  • Results oriented – you are able to continue to transition the organization away from being status driven and implement a radical focus on achieving business outcomes.
  • Leadership – you are a natural coach and possess a powerful talent to persuade and lead people rather than dictate a process. You lead yourself, your team and other leaders, acting as a role model for building and cultivating strong relationships.
  • Change Agent – you exemplify a growth mindset, champion innovation and are not afraid to disrupt and challenge the way things are to continuously improve and gain a competitive advantage. You understand how to sequence changes to introduce the right change at the right time to keep us moving forward.
  • Organizational Effectiveness – you develop formal and informal networks throughout and across the organization and will use this to great effect to improve the agility of the whole Business Unit. You will champion improvement in how we create and deliver software to our customers, understanding the flow from inception, discover, execution, sales and adoption.

Prior Achievements include:

  • In depth knowledge of Lean and Agile principles and frameworks
  • Experience successfully scaling product delivery teams
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change throughout the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience leading and working with distributed teams
  • Experience as an Agile Transformation Coach across multiple coaching engagements and leading Agile Transformations and Transitions
  • Experience managing others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills
  • 10 + years of agile and change management experience
  • Proven mastery and expertise in applying organization design, change, and leadership frameworks 
  • Ability to build strong relationships and alliances across the company
  • Experienced in techniques to increase team cohesion, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Clear and concise communication skills, including ability to interact confidently and persuasively with people at all levels

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional leaders to improve agility across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Product Management
  • Deep understanding of high performing teams, how to build them and key elements that take them to the next level
