Position Summary:

Leading and delivering a variety of projects and deliverables for customer and internal projects (system integration, whitepapers, scalability and performance tests). Leading our standard customer engagements of high complexity.

The Field Architect is responsible for translating complex customer requirements into technical solutions. The position requires an individual to utilize their skills in networking, Citrix products, technical documentation, and effective communication.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Leading strategic project efforts, with the ability to assume responsibility/ownership for entire project components
  • Applying consultative skills in accordance with our Citrix Consulting Methodology
  • Applying server-based computing concepts, professional document creation standards, time management strategies, Citrix product and technology knowledge and experience, and networking skills to internal consulting initiatives and client engagements
  • Displays a growth mindset by solving problems and seeking help from more experienced team members or other available sources
  • Growing your technical capacity beyond the core Citrix products and underlying technologies drives us. We are capable of breaking down sophisticated problems into smaller easier to tackle problems and to follow a structured process to resolve them
  • Perceived as a significant individual contributor to the project and team player who helps coordinate activities to ensure task completion
  • Thrive being current on the latest tools, principles and practices within Citrix and in the industry
  • Proactively contributing information and ideas with others whilst also seeking and accepting advice from others
  • Promoting the services offered by Citrix Consulting both internally and externally
  • Prioritizing and focusing on what is most meaningful for individual deliverables, but never at the expense of the overall team outcomes and project success
  • Thinks and acts in terms of “We,” rather than “Us vs. Them”

Qualifications:

  • Independent problem solving and Analytical skills
  • Solid professional communication skills
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, Application Load Balancing, and Application Firewall
  • Must have implementation & troubleshooting skills on Citrix ADC, Citrix Gateway & HDX Proxy, Application Load Balancer
  • Own or looking to develop skills with either AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technologies.
  • Display initiative, ability & accountability to execute engagements requiring minimal direction.
  • Ability to work in diverse customer environments
  • Welcome the ability to independently tackle problems
  • Have stellar professional communication and standards of document creation
  • Positive customer service attitude

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited university
  • 5-8yrs experience as a network engineer, networking consultant, or equivalent experience
  • Prepared to travel up to 20% of the time
  • CCNA or equivalent certifications preferred
