Sitting in the Customer Success department the Services Relationship Manager (SRM) develops and runs all direct and indirect selling activities within for all Consulting, Support and Education Services offerings. Works with the Citrix sales team, prospects, and customers to increase Citrix services market share and revenue. Responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned revenue targets within an assigned geographical territory, typically selling to enterprise accounts.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Develops and manages accounts within an assigned territory to increase Premium Support, Citrix Consulting and Education revenue.
Uses a “medium-to-long range” planning horizon on DACH sales strategy, ensuring that day-to-day tasks are being carried out effectively, while anticipating and planning for long-term growth.
Identifies new revenue generating opportunities and programs by using internal resources including Marketing, Technical Relationship Managers, Consulting, Account Managers and Enterprise Relationship Managers.
Collaborates with Citrix Sales to use Citrix Consulting resources and services offerings in the most appropriate fashion to support large/strategic product sales opportunities.
Manages and builds Consulting and Education sales pipeline and accurately forecast quarterly revenues using salesforce.com. Enhances attach rates of Consulting and Education offerings in Enterprise accounts.
Responsible for all aspects of the sale from pricing negotiations to contract development.
Works with Citrix Sales, Citrix Presales, CSA and SI partners and others to qualify, manage and close Consulting opportunities.
Collaborates with technical trainers to define custom training requirement, adapts supporting training materials and ensure successful course delivery.
Called upon as an “expert” in the company and in the field. Understand the client’s overall business to ensure successful implementation of Citrix products and technologies through consulting services and education courses.
Coordinates an compiles Statements of Work partnering with Citrix Consulting.
Called upon in the development of new business opportunities for follow on work.
Presents Consulting and Education offerings, new products, forecast and attainments at regional Quarterly Business Review.
Develops and delivers Consulting and Education presentations at Executive Briefings, and client sites.
Schedules and conducts quarterly account reviews with Enterprise Relationship Managers to identify Consulting and Education opportunities.
Demonstrates high “Speed of Delivery” – being able to rapidly develop documentation, standards, and other deliverables for which they are responsible.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Strong expertise in sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis, closing the sale through appropriate procurement vehicle.
Possesses high level of specialized sales and solution-selling approach. Orchestrate internal and external resources to provide high quality services proposals.
Advanced knowledge of Consulting and Education principles, Citrix products and technologies and demonstrates the ability to appropriately apply Citrix products, consulting methodology and technologies to assist the customer in achieving its business goals.
Strong ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within partner community to increase Citrix revenues within assigned territory.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability.
Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate HQ.
Manages cross-functional relationships through collaboration and strengthen partnerships with senior decision makers within Enterprise accounts.
Consistent track record selling consulting services in software and/or hardware industry.
Ability to gather requirements and communicate solutions effectively with individuals in C-level positions and diverse business and technical roles.
Strong leadership, decision-making and problem solving skills.
Creative approach to solving business needs and reaching team objectives in a fast pace environment.

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5 years prior in consulting services sales experience in a high-tech environment in a direct/indirect procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
Extensive account management experience, preferably with experience handling accounts in the Enterprise segment.
Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate headquarters.
