You bring in expertise in product strategies and execution in Products across various Hybrid/Multi Clouds, Application Security and Cloud Native Networking.


Position Overview

As a senior member of a global team, you will have a particularly visible role with the sales organization and with customers. Diplomacy, communication skills (written and verbal), and familiarity with geo-specific customs / behaviours are key. In particular, you should be ready to step into a tough situation and be a voice of reason that brings order from chaos. In this senior role, you will need to connect with and coordinate competing asks coming from multiple geos and with more asks than available resources, you will need to use your leadership and business/technical skills in order to optimize for the most impactful business outcome.


Role Responsibilities

  • You will manage implementation for a defined subset or portion of end-to-end product strategies, including the defined company Product Process and lifecycles, and provide clearly communication to stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Will conduct market validation activities as directed, such as customer prospect interviews and market analysis.
  • Validate product plans against research results and assist making informed recommendations regarding the roadmap to Senior management.
  • You will drive the product requirements' process while making recommendations regarding product requirements and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to validate priorities ..
  • Manage short-term focused market and customer research regarding product acceptance, usage and success and integrate results directly into the product planning activities.
  • Will develop a deep understanding of the competitive market landscape and identify key areas of competitive difference in assigned areas.
  • You will become the product expert within the organization for an assigned product line
  • Will enable the customer base, sales team and partners with product roadmaps & strategies and help with escalations

Basic Qualifications

  • You would have experience in owning a SaaS product line ideally in the Networking, Cloud and/or Application Delivery.
  • ·Exposure to one of security and remote access technologies like VPN, firewall, Authentication/Authorization, ZTNA, SWG is a big plus.
  • ·Hands on experience with one or more of the major public cloud infrastructure services like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google GCP will be nice to have.
  • Have strong customer empathy and good design sense
  • ·Defining a business case and working with simple financial models to weigh costs / benefits
  • Passion to own, build and deliver solutions/products 
  • You would have demonstrated ability to document research findings, market analysis, competitive research and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You have experience in presenting to wide ranging audiences, including internal stakeholders, Webinars, trainings, customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
  • Demonstrated ability to work teams across functions like Engg, marketing, sales, support.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product marketing
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and an MBA(Preferred)
