Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager whose product experience includes quick delivery of incremental value while working in a closely collaborative cross-functional structure. You will become part of a core value stream that focuses on creating an 'API first" culture in Citrix and set the direction of key API infrastructure components such as Citrix’s API Gateway.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead definition and implementation for product component strategies.
• Translate product strategies into defined requirements, drive the creation of prototypes and solutions in collaboration with Product Design and Engineering teams.
• Analyze market trends, conduct user research to validate business strategies and use-cases for high return on investment. Validate product plans and requirements against research results.
• Collaborate with product-, engineering- and marketing partners to define, influence and implement strategies and roadmaps that enable developers.
• Define and achieve objectives by enabling developers.
• Act as a requirements analyst, communicating developers' technical needs to the broader business while clearly articulating the case. Become the voice of developer within the organization. Driving prioritizations of "developer use-cases" across the company.
• Evangelize API First, developers, and the transformation from products to platforms internally.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of exposure to software development in the software industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• A background in API technologies and related topics: REST, API Gateways, API authentication, SDKs or developer enablement. Exposure to the development of cloud services. In particular those hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of at least one common programming/scripting language
• Excellent communication and the rare ability to frame difficult technical concepts within the broader context of business and commercial needs.
• Have solid technical knowledge and the high level of communication and empathy required to see the world through customer and developers' eyes.
• Experience leading the implementation for a defined subset or portion of a product strategy.
• Have experience in documenting research findings, market analysis and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience planning and management of product life cycles and agile development.
• Collaborative and able to work with teams across different regions and cultures.  You’re great at building and maintaining technical relationships, dealing with the demands of handling priorities.
• Ability to contribute to product collateral and white papers, able to present technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Have hands-on with the product and a can-do attitude. Quick to learn and understand new technical concepts and technologies.
• Experience with development using Scrum or SAFe.
