What we're looking for:

You are a Senior Quality Engineer that will be responsible for designing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications. You will also work with a group of forward-thinking software engineers, architects and management to design and implement the next generation of infrastructure, tools, frameworks and services to support future Citrix product development. Position Overview:

Citrix is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated, and collaborative Software Test Engineer to work on innovative technologies within the Citrix Engineering team. 


Role Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers to grasp and influence product requirements for the development of new features and cloud services. 

  • Perform exploratory testing while focusing on various end-user experiences and customer personas. 

  • Research and implement industry best practices in agile methodologies to support Continuous Integration development models. 

  • Defect management: Bug reporting, validation and regression testing while ensuring product integration loopbacks. 

  • Collaborating with Field/Sales Readiness teams to ensure customer success by providing technical guidance & consultancy on product deployment/adoption scenarios 

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues from the field alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams for a quick turnaround on problem resolution. 

  • Deliver product best practices, KB recommendations, tutorials, videos, ‘How do I’ articles, and blogs to facilitate customer adoption of our products. 

  • Proactively monitor the Citrix Cloud environment, and create alerting and dashboards to assist in the monitoring. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience managing software projects, leading and mentoring others

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of software testing experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience

  • Experience with virtualization and provisioning technologies

  • Experience with cloud-computing platforms e.g. Azure, AWS

  • Solid understanding of OS & Networking advanced concepts. 

  • Solid understanding of Windows Systems administration and MS Active Directory. 

  • Knowledge & experience of Software Development Lifecycle

  • Knowledge of CI/CD deployment models. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Windows Operating Systems/Active Directory experience

  • Scripting (PowerShell) experience

  • Basic understanding of networking 

  • Basic understanding of systems architecture 

  • Performance metrics interpretation knowledge 

  • Test design 

  • Performance Testing 

  • Basic knowledge of Databases/ SQL
