What we're looking for:

You are a strategic security leader for the Citrix Security Red Team. As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Citrix enterprise, products, and cloud services are continuously tested and ready for an attack from threat actors and inside threats. You will be guiding the team to focus on the systems, services, and processes behind some of the most valuable resources at Citrix. Additionally, you will communicate with leadership, legal and engineering teams. This leader will also be responsible for day-to-day management of the security team including hiring, team engagement, and cross geo coordination with other security teams.

Position Overview:

The Citrix Security Red Team reports into Citrix Global Security Organization Security Engineering. Security Engineering is a centralized Engineering organization that includes vulnerability response, product security, cloud security and offensive security. Offensive security focuses on Advanced Persistent Threat and Insider Threat emulation, targeting current initiatives and testing existing capabilities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and advocate for a small, high-impact, and multi-talented Security team
  • Create an environment to grow and challenge the team
  • Track deliverables to ensure activities are on schedule and of high quality
  • Build processes that speed up the discovery and resolution of findings
  • Communicate technical issues with accuracy and confidence
  • Help set and fulfil the hiring plan for the team, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing
    Working with Other Security Teams:
  • Drive strategic initiatives to up level overarching security quality of Citrix products
  • Align the team with cross geo security teams and company-wide goals
  • Implement effective security processes and metrics, working in partnership with other teams
  • Model KPIs for the red team and identify/execute strategic improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in either a technical security management role or a security leadership role
  • 3-5 years experience in penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability management or application security
  • Solid understanding in following areas in security – Web, Network, Cloud, Mobile, Windows/Unix
  • Solid understanding of most common software vulnerabilities and standard secure coding practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to contribute to briefings, roadmaps, and long-range planning documents
  • Participant in CTFs, bug bounties or other similar activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Research Background
  • Speaker in Security Conferences
  • Industry Certifications (OSCP,GXPN, CCNP, CEH, GIAC) preferred
