Position overview

The System Integrator Partner Account Manager is responsible for driving a targeted group of Citrix Alliances such as Cap Gemini, DXC, Atos etc... with accountability for growing Citrix Alliance recurring revenue and bookings, developing and implementing business plans with the assigned Sis.

You are able to develop with the Sis joint solutions based on Citrix technologies with added services and complementary solutions to address a market need complemented with a go to market strategy for specific solutions/(vertical) market combinations

Key Responsibilities

  • Is responsible for the strategic long-term goals for their defined Alliance partner accounts and the strategy for relationship building with partners’ account managers. Develops new and innovative approaches and enhancements to leading and growing partner revenue and profitability.

  • Oversee development and execution of business plans which specify and leverage channel marketing materials, field events, demand generation activities, regular feedback solicitation.

  • Collaborate with legal and management internal teams to define and implement the Alliance contract process improvements including the Alliance agreements and tech support agreements.

  • Continuous collaboration with Channel Marketing organization to contribute to the creation of custom partner programs and the roll-out of custom partner program content.

  • Understands methodologies, uses best practices and sets frequency for training activities which articulate Citrix’ strategic direction, product and technology roadmaps, requisite sales skills, go-to-market planning, demand creation and monitor resellers progress towards adherence to program requirements.

  • Provides peers and management with frequent and accurate reports and insight into the financial results and forecast of the Partners' investment in selling Citrix solutions.

  • Experience with System Integrators relationship building / partner management with notable accomplishments, preferably in the technology industry and with System Integrators, alliance

  • High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management, and team building skills. Ability to influence vs. control others.

  • Product knowledge and a solid understanding of Citrix competitive domain and technologies. Ability to train sales management team.

  • Able to empathise with, articulate and understand the business strategy from the channel partner business owner's perspective as well as Citrix's solution strategy, and guide System Integrators resources how to relay these concepts to their teams. Strong level of business acumen, in order to have "business discussions with business people".

  • Are able to - In conjunction with other Alliances (Hyperscalers like Microsoft or Google) develop a Cloud strategy to acquire both new customers with the assigned System Integrators as well as a path for installed base customers to transition to a subscription based Cloud services model.

  • Be the liaison between Citrix sales and the assigned Sis for both account mapping and defining jointly agreed sales strategy and tactics.

  • You have clear understanding of Cloud dynamics and understand the total (partner and vendor) eco system when defining a Mobile Work solution in a multi/hybrid Cloud environment.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate HQ.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related field or equivalent experience

  • Strong Alliance management experience in the Information Technology industry.

  • A demonstrated understanding of the System Integrators business model inclusive of launching ‘joint solutions’ to drive revenue and market share capture

  • Fluent Dutch and English. French is a plus.
