Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Design, DevOps, and Product Security teams to understand requirements for software development in a Scaled Agile environment

  • Compose and maintain detailed design specifications and component documents.

  • Design alongside a team of engineers focusing on 'design first' thinking while incorporating different end user personas.

  • Implement front-end and back-end business logic for new features (Full Stack development).

  • This role will be heavily leaning with Back-end Development, around 75% leveraging Backend Development tools.

  • Takes pride in their work in delivering and deploying software applications that matters to your End-Users.

  • Help to design, build, and roll out modern and consistent User-Experience across all devices with the best enterprise performance, modernization, and security.

  • Design alongside a team of engineers focusing on 'design first' thinking while incorporating different end user personas.

  • Embrace and implement Agile development framework and methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).

  • Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards (e.g., code reviews, logging and instrumentation, static/dynamic code analysis, code coverage, unit, integration tests) within the team.

  • Support and mentor Junior Software Engineers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master’s degree equivalent in a technical field, preferred degree in Computer Science.

  • Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (Algorithms, Data Structures).

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a One or more of the following Object Oriented Programming languages; C#, .Net Core or Java experience with a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals; (Data Structures, Algorithms, Networking, Operating Systems).

  • Experience with cloud computing technologies; Microsoft Azure (Azure Service Fabric, Azure Service Bus), AWS or GCP required.

  • Demonstrable experience developing modern web applications (designing modern REST based APIs, 3rd party integration, Web UI interactions, etc.)

  • Demonstrated expertise in writing clean code in large codebases.

  • This role will require excellent communications skills, a strong need to achieve, creativity, a growth and continuous learning mindset and collaboration.

  • Required to work eastern standard working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Debugging skills in C# .NET using MS Visual Studio.

  • Experience with databases preferably NoSQL (Cosmos, Table storage etc.).

  • Experience with frontend technologies; JavaScript, Angular or React.
