Position Overview

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)/Desktop as a Service(DaaS) provide a virtualization solution for application and desktop delivery to any device, over any network, while enhancing data security, reducing costs, and empowering productivity.

The position of Customer Success Engineer team (CSE) focus on developing, debugging and maintaining software components for Citrix CVAD and DaaS key product lines. Responsibilities range from targeted research and debugging, rapid fix and enhancement in innovative and practical ways,  verification and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and debug product issues identified on customer site, diagnose Citirx product problems through systematic root cause analysis, and deliver necessary code fix
  • Develop, test, and integrate codes to deliver high-quality fixes and functions in an Agile environment
  • Perform maintenance functions to correct errors as necessary
  • Collaborate with Product and Technical Support teams to understand product design and solve product issues for customer success  
  • Continuously learn to keep pace with technology advancements
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead team initiatives
  • Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards (e.g.: code reviews, logging and instrumentation, unit tests) within the team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ Years’ experience of system level programming on Windows or Linux
  • In-depth knowledge of software development, operating system, networking protocols, programming language theories
  • Solid experience of Object-Oriented software design
  • Strong problem solving/debugging and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of database fundamentals (SQL)
  • Hands-on experience of internal test environment set up and functional verification
  • Good verbal and written English
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and tenacious when tackling tough technical issues
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead team initiatives
  • Good understanding of OS kernel and Multi-threaded design & development
  • Skills with popular tools like Windbg, Visual Studio, network sniffing tools, Windows Internal tools for live debugging/postmoterm analysis.
  • Experience on Web technologies such as SOAP, XML, ASP.NET, HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON
  • Microsoft Windows programming technologies such as Win32, WMI, COM/DCOM, .NET
  • Experience with security-related software development
  • Familiar with Microsoft AD,GPO and terminal service 

Familiar with Cloud technology like MSFT Azure ,Amazon AWS and Google GCP
