As an SRE Engineer, you love solving problems and enjoy learning new technologies.  You are a curious with a passion for learning how things work and experience in collaborating toward solutions to complex problems. You have an understanding of the software development lifecycle process, computer science fundamentals, operating systems, computer networking, and are proficient in one or more object oriented programming language (C, C++, Java).

Here's what we need you to do so we can take first place:

  • Build and maintain MSSQL and MySQL database systems.
  • Build and maintain NoSQL database solutions such as MongoDB and AWS DynamoDB.
  • Provide Ad-hoc support to feature teams and external stakeholders to address business needs.
  • Provide proactive and reactive performance analysis and monitoring to aid in the troubleshooting of database services.
  • Provide solutions to solve performance issues throughout the infrastructure and consuming service code.
  • Participate in on-call support to address customer impacting issues.
  • Implement HA/DR/Maintenance/Backup strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree and 2+ years DBA experience with managing large multitenant database clusters, preferably MSSQL.
  • Experience with additional database technologies like MongoDB, AWS DyanamoDB, AWS RDS, Cosmos, Cassandra, Hadoop, MySQL, etc
  • Experience working with Databases hosted in the cloud, AWS preferred.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform

Bonus points for:

  • 2+ years of experience with additional database technologies like MongoDB, AWS DyanamoDB, AWS RDS, Cosmos, Cassandra, Hadoop, MySQL
