Position Overview: Citrix Workspace Security team is on a mission to provide the best application delivery experience for modern application architectures deployed on cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes. Citrix Gateway Service (CGS) is a cloud based HDX-Proxy solution that provides secure remote access through a cloud- based gateway that front-ends virtual apps and desktop environments. We are looking for talented and highly motivated software engineering leaders interested in taking on challenges associated with security, performance, scale, usability, and visibility in a distributed environment. Roles Responsibilities: • Design and implement solutions based on the Layer7 proxy in Cloud Native and On Prem environment. • Design and implement highly scalable control/data plane using Kubernetes. • Design and implement application delivery solutions in Azure, AWS, GCP. • Participate in Agile development and testing environment. • Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors/Masters/PhD in CS/EC/EE/Mathematics and computing • 2+ years of relevant work experience • Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. • Understanding of software development methodology and lifecycle. Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (network, OS concepts, database, ). • Good understanding of networking protocols like TCP/UDP, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS. • Proficient in C/C++ or Go • OS experience: Linux OR Unix • Experience in cloud-native technologies involving micro-services, Docker, Golang, Kubernetes, Helm Chart, Jenkins, CI/CD • Experience with one or more public cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP. • Experience in developing and testing enterprise cloud deployment will be plus. • Excellent debugging skills both at protocol level (sniffer traces, tcp-dump, Wireshark etc) and systems level (with kernel debugger). • Agile based development experience is a must. • Team player, self-motivated and with growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in Python, Cloud Security, CASB, Zero Trust is Plus. Understanding of different OS's (Unix, Windows, Mac, iOS, macOS) Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly
