What we're looking for:

As a Presales Enablement Specialist, you are responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating presales readiness and enablement programs in collaboration with key business stakeholders and external providers. This is accomplished by:

We’re looking for someone who will:
• Leading virtual teams of cross-functional resources in the development of a complete set of enablement deliverables.
• Blended learning experiences including ILT, VILT, and On-Demand classroom instructor led course/webinar materials.
• Additional presales enablement tools- job aides, podcasts, video, interactive PDFs.
• Experience in skills-based evaluations – coaching & feedback, demo, presentation skills, business writing, how to white board, and sales methodology.

During projects, the incumbent provides thought leadership, and manages stakeholder and executive sponsor relationships with engineering groups, customers, partners, and other teams to enable the team to develop specifications for enablement content

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and capture sales and technical skills needs and partner across stakeholders to develop vision, strategy, and plans for Citrix’s Application Delivery and Security portfolio
  • Maintaining knowledge of the for Citrix’s Application Delivery and Security portfolio required to effectively train technical pre-sales audiences
  • Evaluate the business impact of learning programs through use of learning and performance metrics.
  • Develop and optimize segment-specific technical curriculum and programs that improve the productivity of our sales engineers and specialist teams
  • Define and develop scope, objectives, storyboard/outline and other design documents for comprehensive training plans and continuing education for our presale's teams.
  • Design and develop hands-on and virtual workshops including managing logistics, creating of presentations, lesson plans, activities, and labs collaboratively and independently
  • Deliver classroom and virtual training to a variety of technical audience
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content, and manage content updates and continuous improvement
  • An ability to articulate use cases and applications of technology in a variety of industries.
  • Actively and continuously learn and stay informed about the SE roles, and new systems and processes at Citrix
  • Create and/or broker innovative and engaging enablement activities 
  • Foster knowledge sharing and participate in both the Technical Trainer and customer communities who could help scale the delivery of enablement and readiness programs

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of Network/Application Delivery and Security 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with network-security, endpoint, IDS or similar technologies
  • 3+ years' experience as a technical trainer / sales engineer / professional services consultant, or equivalent technical position

Things We Would Love to See:

  • Proven experience successfully delivering ILT and VILT courses in cyber security related topics (e.g., digital forensics, intrusion detection, incident response) to highly technical audiences
  • Experienced with virtual classroom training tools such as WebEx, Zoom, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with the ability to address both executive and technical audiences
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies
  • Ability to focus on results while working independently when given a broad direction and desired results
  • Strong problem-solving skills: must be capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues
  • Understanding of enterprise security requirements
  • Able to function efficiently and effectively in a fast-moving and demanding environment
