What we're looking for:

You are an experienced software engineer with working knowledge in designing and developing Cloud or Enterprise software and Cloud APIs .

Position Overview

You will own, design and develop for a functional area of a product. You will also design, Implement and guide the team in building use cases that allow customers to measure end-user experience in a virtual infrastructure environment, construct machine learning models to identify factors affecting the same and build automated actions to address them as part of closed loop monitoring. You'll also work on building interfaces for customers to view and consume this data in the form of reports, self-service filters, alerts and insights.

Role Responsibilities

 Performs tasks involving programming/coding, troubleshooting and testing of software components 

 Deploy the developed software to live cloud infrastructure used by customers 

 Applies software process methodologies to complete assignments and ensure quality output 

 Performs preliminary tests to verify the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of developed or enhanced software 

 Solicits input and expertise to carry out assignments correctly 

 Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work 

 Communicates technical issues within scope of assignment 

 Performs maintenance functions to correct errors as necessary

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related field 

• 4 – 6 years of relevant work experience or applied coursework (including entry level)

• Proficient with hands-on coding using an object-oriented programming language, preferably C#.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language, preferably Python or PowerShell

• Strong problem solving skills and understanding of data-structures

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Experience leveraging cloud platform services to implement highly scalable and performant solution, centered on resiliency, extensibility and enterprise security practices

• Experience working on public cloud services like, application gateways, API/Function/Lambda apps, cloud orchestrations, event hubs, storage, caching and queuing services etc. preferably on Azure.

• Experience working on big-data processing, preferably using event hubs, Spark Streaming, Kafka and, SQL or Druid database

• Experience working on monitoring and analytics solutions based on AI/ML is preferred. Experience working with AzureML, TensorFlow or Databricks is a plus.
