Training for this position is conducted in Dublin (relocation assistance provided), and after training, relocate to one of our core European markets (including but not limited to, Germany, France, Spain, based on business needs).

The Technical Consulting/Sales Engineering Leadership Development Program (also known as the Technical Analyst position), is an entry-level, 12-month training program, designed to prepare you to become a Technical Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Customer Success Manager at Citrix.

Upon hiring, you will immediately begin the exciting but challenging specialised training program where you will learn about Citrix product technologies, develop presentation and leadership skills, and start to learn about the Citrix sales and consulting methodologies. We are seeking hard-working people who are passionate about problem solving, have an affinity for technology, and want to play an active role in helping transform the way our customers work.
Acquire certifications in Citrix and Microsoft technologies
Establish technical expertise of our product portfolio and become proficient with installation and deployment
Learn key technical concepts around desktop and server virtualization, cloud computing, server-based computing, and network/systems architectures
Become proficient in delivering product demonstrations and presentations
Develop your individual style for communicating our value proposition and messaging to customers
Establish basic consultant-client relationships

The training is comprised of two primary components, New Hire Training and Rotations. During New Hire Training you will spend time in the office studying for technical certification exams, shadow field consulting projects, support sales opportunities as a technical authority, and conduct analysis for technical architecture issues in a customer’s environment.
Upon completion of New Hire Training, you will join a rotation program crafted to further develop your leadership potential and ability to apply technical concepts effectively in the field. Rotations include working within internal teams including Inside Sales Engineering, Field Sales Engineering, Consulting, Managed Services, Technical Marketing, User Experience, Product Management and Product Engineering. While in rotations, you are encouraged to take responsibility for your business area, pursuing more advanced responsibilities and demonstrating performance in a high-reaching environment.
2021 or 2022 graduate with a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university
A native speaker of at least 1 of the following languages: German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Russian, Arabic
Business proficiency in English
Willing to relocate to Dublin, Ireland for the 12-month training program, and also willing to relocate to a core market within Europe based on business needs (e.g. Germany, France, Spain)
Willing to travel at least 50% of the time after the 12-month training
Demonstrated leadership experience
Have a positive customer service attitude, be eager to solve problems and overcome technical challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have an understanding of basic Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Networking)
Flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new technologies
